Gyros:
500 grams pork shoulder or belly (whole piece)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Black ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/3 teaspoon Cumin
30 ml olive oil
Assortments:
5 pita bread
1 sliced tomato
1 sliced onion
Greek yogurt
Fresh parsley
Sweet paprika
– Wrap meat with aluminium foil and put it in the freezer for about 50 minutes
– Slice finely the pork with a very sharp knife
– Add all ingredients and mix well
– Heat up a saucepan and cook gyros until ready and crispy
– Serve gyros on pita bread with some onion, tomato, yogurt, parsley and sweet paprika on top
